Then the camp quality "family" come to the rescue
First the get us back to town
Then they drop us off at a mechanics who stayed back for us
He pulled the axle out and gave us nos of people to call in the morning to get us going
Then at the hotel room the door was open and this "slightly" drunk walks in and give us another 4 nos for wreckers
The next morning we get up and ring 44 different people in griffith ,wagga and sydney to find an axle
One guy tells to go and see Robbie
We walk 1 km to robbies and he tells us he knows a farmer 1/2 hr outta town who may have a axle
Robbie the drives to the farmers to see while we wait at the workshop
He comes back and says he's got one and if we want it "he'll"drive back an pick it up and drop it off at the car
He does just that while his wife drops us off back at the car
We start to pull the old axle out while we wait
Then michael from team Volvo rocks up and says you guys want a hand
We'd love a hand so he goes back gets he's tools and we all spend the next 2 hrs replacing the axle
Just in time for Wednesday start to wagga wagga
These country folks are unbelievable !!!!
